THE PURPOSE OF THE WORK
Start with the outcome you need to understand.
A revocable living trust can provide instructions for property held in the trust and name a successor trustee to act when needed. Its usefulness depends on how it is drafted and funded.
A trust does not automatically eliminate taxes, protect assets from every claim, or avoid every court process. We explain the tradeoffs, review ownership and beneficiary designations, and identify the steps needed to place appropriate assets into the trust.

QUESTIONS TO REVIEW
Trust planning decisions
Who may serve as trustee and successor trustee
Which assets may be appropriate for trust ownership
How distributions should be structured
How incapacity instructions should work
What remains governed by a will or beneficiary designation
01 · ORIENT
Identify the decision.
A brief, non-confidential inquiry helps us understand the subject, timing, and likely jurisdiction.
02 · REVIEW
Clarify facts and options.
If the matter is a fit, the consultation focuses on goals, documents, ownership, roles, and procedural constraints.
03 · DEFINE
Agree on the work.
Representation begins only after conflicts review, scope and fees are confirmed, and a written engagement is accepted.
A CLEAR PLACE TO BEGIN
Bring the question. We will help identify the next step.
An initial conversation can clarify whether your concern is planning, probate, or a fiduciary responsibility—and what information may be useful next.
Submitting an inquiry does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information.
